• When MCCANSI=Y is specified to the OS/390 indexer, indexing may

  1.ARGL390L was not properly gathering indexes when a change
  condition causes a new segment to be detected.  This led to the
  ARS5419E message.
  
  2.When ARGL390L is processing LINEOFFSET=AsPrinted, it inserts
  'virtual' lines for purposes of counting lines.  That virtual
  line is not stored in the document.  When ARGL390L is performing
  MCC2ANSI=Y, it has to modify the subsequent line to account for
  the differences between 'print - then space'   versus 'space -
  then print'.  Unfortunately, the LINEOFFSET=AsPrinted
  did not account for the fact that the subsequent line was
  virtual and would not be in the document.  Thus the alteration
  of the carriage control was lost.
  

Problem conclusion

• 1.ARGL390L is changed to properly gather indexes.
  
  2.ARGL390L is changed to only modify lines that will end up in
  the document when LINEOFFSET=AsPrinted is specified.
