Error description

  • (HPU 5.1 only) The data sets containing the unloaded data
unloaded from different tablespaces are unduly stacked on the
same tape although the parallelism regarding tablespaces is
allowed, either through the PARALLELISM (..,..,ts) option or the
setting of the VUX030/UTLPARAL parmlib parameter to ts with ts
    greater than 1.
This occurs if the allocation of the output datasets for the
unloaded data (specified through the OUTDDN or UNLDDN options)
is requested through a TEMPLATE statement that specifies the
    STACK YES option.
The expected behaviour is to unload the tablespace in parallel
stacking output dataset on each tape mounted for each
    tablespace.

Local fix

  • if applicable, add a "UNCNT n" to the TEMPLATE statement used
for the allocation of the data sets containing the unload data
where n is the desired parallelism degree. Make sure the
TAPEUNIT specification applicable to the involved UNIT specifies
a value grater or equal to n.
