  Db2 monitors storage conditions so that it can contract
  storage when needed. Currently, the user only receives a
  console message DSNV516I indicating the beginning of Db2
  storage contraction but no reason as to why it occurred.

  The reason for storage contraction
      REALSTORAGE_MANAGEMENT=ON
      Db2 always discards unused REAL storage frames when the
      REALSTORAGE_MANAGEMENT subsystem parameter setting is
      ON.
      Low on available frames
      REALSTORAGE_MANAGEMENT=AUTO was specified and the total
      free REAL FRAME QUEUE count became lower than the
      threshold calculated or controlled by SRM
      (System Resource Mgr) based on the system workload.
      AUXILIARY SHORTAGE
      Db2 detected paging and Db2 was notified by SRM
      (System Resource Mgr) that it has detected shortage
      of free AUXILIARY SLOTS.
