Error description
This fix addresses three issues: Issue 1: Using certain line commands on accelerator-only tables returns error message ADB325E "Invalid object type." Issue 2: Using line command LKEY on archive tables returns error message ADB325E "Invalid object type." Issue 3: When altering the INSERT ALGORITHM value for table spaces, Db2 Admin Tool mistakenly reports that the value of zero is allowed after the value has been changed to 1 or 2. However, the value of zero is allowed only when creating table spaces. Keyword: msgadb325e

However, * * the value of zero is allowed only * * when creating table spaces. * **************************************************************** Issue 1: On panel ADB21T, if you issue any of the following line commands on accelerator-only tables, you receive the error message "Invalid Object type": L, SEL, COUNT, DS, DSP, INS, DET, BET This fix allows users to execute any of the above commands on accelerator-only tables. However, please note the following restrictions: 1- You can now use the BET and DET line commands, but not primary commands, for accelerator-only tables. 2- When using the INS line command for accelerator-only tables, you must select option "1" on panel ADB2PSTM (Statement Execution Prompt). Options "2" and "3" on panel ADB2PSTM generate JCL that will fail with RC=8. Issue 2: If you issue the LKEY line command on an archive table, you receive the error message "Invalid Object type." With this fix applied, you should no longer receive this error. Issue 3: When you alter the INSERT ALGORITHM value for a table space after it has been changed to a non-zero value, zero is incorrectly shown as a valid value. If you try to specify zero, the following new message, ADB330V, should now be issued: INSERT ALGORITHM cannot be altered to value of zero. Only values allowed are 1 or 2.
