PH24012: LIU UNDER IMS ADMINISTRATION TOOL CAUSES ABEND013 OPEN ERROR WHEN IT FIND ERROR AFTER DISCOVERING IMS ENVIRONMENT INFORMATION

  information, LIU under IMS Administration Tool causes ABSEND013
  OPEN error for ATYMSGS to obtain error information.

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: When IMS Administration Tool fails to   *
  *                      discover IMS environment information,   *
  *                      LIU under IMS Administration Tool       *
  *                      causes ABEND013 OPEN error for ATYMSGS  *
  *                      DD to obtain the error information.     *
  ****************************************************************
  * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the maintenance for this APAR.         *
  ****************************************************************
  When IMS Administration Tool discovers IMS environment
  information and fails to obtain the information, LIU under
  IMS Administration Tool receives discovery error and tries to
  read error messages which are written to ATYMSGS DD and outputs
  these.
  
  Although LIU tries to process error messages, LIU fails because
  it has wrong logic of dynalloc ATYMSGS DD and reading messages
  in ATYMSGS DD.
  
  As a result of this, LIU causes ABEND013 OPEN error of ATYMSGS
  DD or LIU fails to retrieve error messages from ATYMSGS DD and
  no error information is written to FABXAMSG DD which is the
  output of LIU under IMS Administration Tool.
  The problem is caused only when IMS Administration Tool fails
  to discover IMS environment information.
  
  This APAR fixes LIU to retrieve error message from ATYMSGS DD
  correctly.
