Error description
Formatting dumps with the CICSPlex SM dump formatting routine VERBX EYU9Dnnn can print inaccurate timestamp values. This occurs when formatting stored clocks values for stack creation times, and when formatting the CMAS-MAS connection summary. The problem arises when the dump being formatted originated on a different MVS image from where IPCS is executing.

Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All CICSPlex SM users. * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Formatting a CICSPlex SM dump using * * VERBX EYU9Dnnn with either the COM or * * TASKS keywords will print some * * timestamps in LOCAL time. * * Due to an error in the time conversion * * process these timestamps are converted * * to local time incorrectly. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: After applying the PTF that resolves * * PH23886, restart any IPCS sessions pointing * * to the version of EYU9D520, EYU9D530, * * EYU9D540, or EYU9D550 distributed by the * * PTF. A link list update and LLA refresh may * * be required where these modules are held * * in the linklist. * **************************************************************** Formatting a CICSPlex SM SVC dump using any of VERBX EYU9D520 VERBX EYU9D530 VERBX EYU9D540 VERBX EYU9D550 with either the COM or TASKS keywords will print some stored clock values in LOCAL time. The affected timestamps appear in the following sections of the formatted dump report: - Kernel linkage summary for component <componentID> - CMAS-CMAS direct connection summary for <cmasname> - CMAS-MAS connection summary for <cmasname> An error fetching the CVT while converting the timestamps means that these timestamps are converted into local time incorrectly, therefore the value displayed is not an accurate representation of the stored clock value. The CVTLSO and CVTLDTO values are required for local time conversion. This error occurs when the address space running the the dump formatting routine executes on a different zOS LPAR to where the dump was captured, or during a different IPL of the same LPAR.
Problem conclusion
Modules EYU0DVKF and EYU0DVOF have been updated to interpret the STCK values correctly.
