APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • After user hides,unhides and rearranges the display order on
    reports in Home Page Config tab,
    reports displayed in the TFUI displays in different order than
    in Standard UI Home Page.
    
    Workaround:
    Delete all the reports in the Home Page Configuration tab and
    Add reports back in the desired order.
    
    
    Prerequisites:
    1.	OP 8.1.0.1 with standard test data
    
    2.	Add reports into a Profile?s Home Page Tab
    a)	Login to the OpenPages Application as OpenPagesAdministrator
    and switch to Standard UI
    b)	Click the drop down arrow next to OpenPagesAdministrator and
    change Profile to OpenPages Platform 3
    c)	On top menu, click Administration> Profiles >OpenPages
    Platform 3
    d)	Navigate to Home Page Tab Configuration and click Add button
    e)	Expand OpenPages V6 and then expand Administrative Reports
    and Administrative Utilities
    f)	Select Checked Out Files, Disassociated Objects and KPI
    Creation Utility and click Add
    
    
    3.	On Top of Page, click Home and confirm the reports are
    displayed in same order as in the Profile?s Home Page
    Configuration Tab
    
    
    4.	Log Out and Log back in as OpenPagesAdministrator
    5.	In TFUI, click on the gear icon to configure the Dashboard
    
    
    
    
    
    
    6.	Click Add Panel, select Reports for Panel Type, enter Reports
    for the Label and click Done and then click Done again
    7.	Confirm that the reports displayed matches the order
    displayed earlier on the Home Page in Standard UI
    
    
    
    Step to reproduce:
    
    1.	Switch to the Standard UI
    2.	On top menu, click Administration> Profiles >OpenPages
    Platform 3
    3.	Navigate to Home Page Tab Configuration
    4.	Click Hide on the KPI Creation Utility
    5.	Click Show on the KPI Creation Utility
    6.	Change the Display order to 3 and click Update Order
    7.	Click on the Home and confirm the Report Order matches the
    Profile?s Home Page tab configuration.
    
    
    
    8.	Log out of the application and log back in as
    OpenPagesAdministrator
    9.	In the TFUI Dashboard, confirm that the reports are displayed
    in a different order than that displayed in Standard UI Home
    Page
    
    
    
    
    
    
    
    Expected Results:
    
    Report order displayed on Home Page in Standard UI should match
    the display order for reports displayed in Task Focused UI.
    
    Actual Results:
    
    In cases where there are many reports, the report order can
    differ greatly between Standard UI and TFUI depending on various
    user report display manipulations.  The workaround can be
    tedious when numerous reports are involved.
