**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All users of HPFPU Fast Path Advanced Tool * * and Online Structure Change utility in Fast * * Path Solution Pack Version 2 Release 1 * * (FMID: HAHQ210). * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: This APAR enables Fast Path Advanced * * Tool (FPA) to continue processing even * * when the SDEP keyword is specified but * * there is no SDEP segment defined in DBD * * description. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the maintenance for this APAR. * **************************************************************** With this APAR, FPA issues an informational message when SDEP=LOGICAL or PHYSICAL is specified but no SDEP segment defined in DBD description, instead of ending abnormally. This enhancements is being implemented as a result of RFE requirement 130619. The Online Structure Change utility has been modified as follow: . generates the DBD Definition report even when HFPC0167E is issued . changes HFPS0005I/HFPS0006I to HFPS0005E/HFPS0006E . ends with error when the number of ALLOCATE OAREAs is different from that of RESTRUCTURE OAREAs . ends with error when a new area is added but the DDNPREFIX_NEW keyword is not specified ======================== = DOCUMENTATION CHANGE = ======================== The IMS Fast Path Solution Pack for z/OS Version 2 Release 1 IMS High Performance Fast Path Utilities User's Guide (SC27-9536-00).
