Error description
The following changes are included in this APAR: 1. Support ACCEL_LOCKMODE on IDAA_DUAL and IDAA_ONLY LOAD jobs, so that loader job will now utilize IDAA implementation of LOCKMODE behavior 2. When loading to a target accelerator that is on IDAA 5.1 PTF-8, the Accelerator Loader is modified to directly interface with ACCEL_LOAD_TABLES. Accelerator Loader LOADLIB is not required to be on DSNUTILU workload manager (WLM) address space, instead accelerator loader LOADLIB should now be included into the WLM that runs the SYSPROC.ACCEL_LOAD_TABLES stored procedure. 3. The above change in architecture to Accelerator Loader would also resolve the following issues on IDAA 5.1 or 7.1 accelerator. If ACCEL_LOAD_TABLES stored procedure terminates prior to the end of the load job, accelerator loader job may hang and generate a SQLCODE = -430, ERROR: PROCEDURE SYSPROC.ACCEL_LOAD_TABLES. With this fix the loader job will not hang. If ACCEL_LOAD_TABLES stored procedure terminates prior to the end of the load job, accelerator loader job on a ACCELERATOR ONLY TABLE may end with a RC=0 and generate SQLCODE = -430, ERROR: PROCEDURE SYSPROC.ACCEL_LOAD_TABLES. With this fix loader job would now end with a RC=8. When the input SYSREC data set is on a TAPE and when loader job tries to read this input data set and gets a 'IEC145I 413-18', the loader job may hang. With this fix the loader job will not hang, instead would end with a RC=8 Consistent Load job may fail with, HLOA116I A Exiting HLOZSCHD with RC=08 HLOA001E A Error occurred during attempt to offload to zIIP HLO3802E A The Loader row convertion program ended unexpectedly. HLO3801E A The Accelerator Loader conversion program returned an error. HLO3601E Log apply task returned an error, RC=X'00000C' HLO2802E 0004 The writer service returned an error, RC=X'00000C' 4. When Accelerator Loader BASE SMPE and ALL maintenance is applied at the same time the APPLY may fail with GIM67301W. This APAR would resolve this issue
