PH22659: ZWAS CRASH IN BBOG_FAILUREMONITOR::DISPATCHRECOVERY(MVS::STOKEN) FOLLOWING NORMAL SHUTDOWN

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Crash occurs in
  BBOG_FailureMonitor::dispatchRecovery(MVS::STOKEN) in a control
  process following a stop command being issued for the server.
  
  
  The problem can be seen in the dump as an abend0c4 at
  BBOG_FailureMonitor::dispatchRecovery(MVS::STOKEN) +13E
  or as
  an abend0c1 in destructors like
  
  ORBR_GTIDCollisionElement::¯ORBR_GTIDCollisionElement()
  or
  Snoozer::¯Snoozer()
  when called on the path from
  BBOG_FailureMonitor::dispatchRecovery(MVS::STOKEN)
  
  The failure
  happens because an object was deleted and reallocated as
  something else.

  When BBOG_FailureMonitor::dispatchRecovery(MVS::STOKEN)
  attempts to call the failureOccurred method during
  controller stop processing an 0C1 abend happens because
  the BBOG_ServantFailureEventListener object was freed and
  reallocated as a ORBR_GTIDCollisionElement object.

Problem conclusion

• Changed the code to not invoke a method on an object that was
  freed.
  
  The fix for this APAR is targeted for inclusion in fix pack
