Problem summary

• ****************************************************************
  * USERS AFFECTED: All users of IBM IMS Tools Base for z/OS     *
  *                 Version 1 Release 6 (FMID: HAHN160) who use  *
  *                 the Autonomics Director.                     *
  ****************************************************************
  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: This APAR includes several fixes of     *
  *                      Autonomics Director for DEDB with 2048  *
  *                      AREAs defined.                          *
  ****************************************************************
  * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the maintenance for this APAR and      *
  *                 restart Autonomics Director server.          *
  ****************************************************************
  The following issues of Autonomics Director are resolved.
  1.AD server failed with S0C4 (ABEND0C4) if many sensor jobs
  were scheduled.
  2.Recovery sensor job (IROSENSR) failed with HKTR008E message if
  some jobs ran concurrently.It was not able to obtain a exclusive
  lock to store sensor data.
  3.'IAVS052 message not found in ISPMLIB library.' message was
  issued on IAVPXML panel.
  4.Only 673 AREAs were displayed on IAVPXIR panel even if DEDB
  with 2048 AREAs defined. AD client was not able to handle with
  multiple segment data.
  5.Only 28 AREAs were displayed on IAVPGRL panel even if DEDB
  with 2048 AREAs defined. AD server did not set the number of
  data segment correctly.
  6.IAVS052 error was occurred on IAVPXIR and IAVPSRD panel.AD
  client always required all monitoring lists to AD server.
  

Problem conclusion

• The AD modules have been modified as follows:
  1.AD server is updated to increase the number of entries for
  the scheduled job.
  2.The IROSENSR is changed to retry to obtain a exclusive lock to
  store sensor data when it's failed.
  3.IAVS052 message is defined.'The number of monitor list members
  to display exceeds the maximum limit. Apply a filter to narrow
  your search.' message is issued.
  4.AD client is improved to be able to handle with multiple
  segment data.
  5.AD server sets the correct number of data segment.
  6.AD client is improved to require monitoring list for database
  and group which are needed.
