Error description

• When specifying ADATA and NOSOURCE compiler options, compiler
  step fails with U3002 abend following a segment translation
  exception.
  

Local fix

• Compile with SOURCE or NOADATA
  

Problem summary

  When ADATA and NOSOURCE options are in effect, compiler was
  using an uninitialized variable when doing ADATA processing.
  

Problem conclusion

• The compiler was updated to initialize all variables before use
  in ADATA processing.
