Error description

  • In OpenPages 8.1, we added a link to the TFUI for Cognos
Analytics. If you had the necessary role permission, you saw the
link the TFUI header. If you didn't have the role permission,
    you didn't see the link.
In 8.1.0.1, if you don't have the role permission, you
incorrectly still see the Analytics link. If you don't have the
role permission and click the link, you get this error message:
There was a problem generating the report. Please try again.
Contact your administrator if the problem persists.

    Steps to Reproduce
? Login as OpenPagesAdminstrator. Switch to Standard UI
? Administration > Role Templates. Click on the Modules Master -
    All Data -Limited Admin
3a. Because this role template doesn't have the TFUI enabled,
scroll down to the Role Permission. Click Edit and be sure that
User Interfaces has the Login to Task Focused UI selected. Click
    Save
3b. Confirm that this role template, the Command Center Studios
and the Cognos Analytics Role permissions should be unchecked.
? Logout and login as a user with that role template.
Login as a user who has this role template - may need to create
    if not such user exists
? From the TFUI, click on the Analytics button.
    You'll see the error
"There was a problem generating the report. Please try again.
Contact your administrator if the problem persists."

    Expected Behavior
If the user's role template(s) don't have the Role Permission
called Analytics, then they should not see the Analytics button
in the header of the TFUI

    Current Behavior
The Analytics button appears but clicking it causes an error
