Error description

  • After a MQPUT1 error during an outbound MQ pipeline request the
following message is displayed:

DFHPI0002 A severe error (code X'0707') has occurred in module
DFHPITQ.

Problem summary

*                      is received when CICS is acting as a    *
*                      WebService requester, using MQ as a     *
*                      transport.                              *
****************************************************************
CICS is acting as a web service requester.  MQ is being used as
the transport.  The MQPUT1 call issued by DFHPITQ1 to send the
request message fails.  An attempt is then made to write this
message to the dead letter queue.

DFHPITQ1 fails to obtain the dead letter queue name because this
information is not relevant for a requester pipeline.  This
failure leads to message DFHPI0002 with code(x'0707') being
issued.

Problem conclusion


    

  • DFHPITQ1 has been changed to no longer attempt to put failed
request messages on the dead letter queue.
