ADB7955E GOC2CMP - Error(s) found. Please review output

However, there are no other messages to indicate what the
error is.

Local fix

  • Adding an ADBMSGS DD Statement will provide further
detail.

Problem summary

  • ****************************************************************
* USERS AFFECTED: Users of the Db2 Administration Tool and     *
*                 Object Comparison Tool for z/OS              *
****************************************************************
* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Object Compare returns the following    *
*                      message:                                *
*                      ADB7955E GOC2CMP - Error(s) found       *
*                                                              *
*                      However, the Compare report does not    *
*                      include any additional messages to      *
*                      describe the problem.                   *
****************************************************************
When reporting only changed objects and
"Allow PBR2 to PBR changes" is set to NO, Object
Compare returns message ADB7955E to indicate that
an error occurred. However, the compare report
does not include the following error message that
it should to describe the problem:

ADB7211E Field PAGENUM should be changed
from RELATIVE to ABSOLUTE but option
Allow PBR2 to PBR changes is set to
"NO". The change will not be generated.

Problem conclusion

  • The problem has been resolved.
