PH21670: BOTH ATY3130E AND ATY3131E ARE INCORRECTLY ISSUED UNDER THE IMS COMMAND PROCESSOR FUNCTION

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Both ATY3130E and ATY3131E are incorrectly issued under the IMS
  Command Processor function even if the JBP ISPUFI function is
  not invoked.
  

Local fix

• A workaround is to store the following correct members into IMS
  PROCLIB:
  - DFSJBP
  - DFSJVMMS
  - DFSJVMEV
  

Problem summary

  *                      and ATY3131E are displayed incorrectly  *
  *                      instead of command response.            *

  * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the maintenance for this APAR.         *
  ****************************************************************
  Using JBP (Variable SQLLANG=JBP) is an option of the IMS SPUFI
  function. The IMS command processor function should not refer
  the IMS JBP region information, however, it attempts discover
  of JBP information erroneously. And it attempts discovery of
  JBP information regardless the value of SQLLANG.
  As the result, Admin Tool detects errors and issues the
  messages ATY3130E, ATY3131E, and ATY3117E showing JBP
  information discover failed.
  
  Workaround:
  The command response is displayed by entering PF3 (exit) key
  on the panel where the messages are displayed.
  Furthermore, if you would like to prevent the messages
  appearing, store the following correct members into IMS
  PROCLIB:
  
    - DFSJBP
    - DFSJVMMS
    - DFSJVMEV
  

Problem conclusion

• IMS Administration Tool has been fixed as follows:
  
  - IMS Administration Tool is fixed to discover IMS JBP region
    information only when it is necessary
