Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All users of IBM WebSphere Application * * Server * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Enable-CDI manifest property not * * working if applied to war modules * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** We created an Enable-CDI property that can be read from MANIFEST.MF files as a last resort when the methods in the spec are not available. However a codepath for processing war archives failed to honour this property.
Problem conclusion
The codepath was modified to honour the property. The fix for this APAR is targeted for inclusion in fix pack 9.0.5.4. For more information, see 'Recommended Updates for WebSphere Application Server': http://www.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=180&uid=swg27004980
