APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • During the processing of parallel data, QM encountered a 0C4-4
attempting to store into an offset based on address 0 due to a
QM control block address being zero.
Additional Symptoms:
CQCMPRC5 recovery retry loop ABEND0C4

Local fix

  • Specify PARALLEL(N) in CQMPARMS.

When CQM monitors parallel threads, the abend in CQM and in Db2
may happen.

Problem conclusion

  • Logic was changed to process such case.
