PH20525: MISCELLANEOUS PUBLISHER API PROBLEMS

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• 1). CEXPUBMN S0C4 abend with PROGxx REFRPROT option enabled.
  this was caused by the setup of a cross memory post error
      exit routine.
  2). Abend S052-516 in ETCON macro in module CEXMAPI+16F6 when
      IMS Connect V15 has the obsolete LOCAL port configured.
  
  This is a forward fit of CEX V240 APAR PH19033.

  1. CEXPUBMN S0C4 abend with PROGxx REFRPROT option enabled. This
     was caused by the setup of a cross memory post error exit
     routine.
  
  2. Abend S052-516 in ETCON macro in module CEXMAPI when IMS
     Connect V15 has the obsolete LOCAL port configured.
  
  3. Lock cleanup is not run for a client if a TCB other than that
     running the publisher client abends.
  

Problem conclusion

• 1. Replace the use of cross memory post with the safe cross
     memory post IEAMSXMP which does not require an error exit.
  
  2. Correct logic error when LOCAL ports are configured.
  
  3. Correct logic error in the non SDWA code path in the ARR
     routine.
