APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • When the customer attempts to print a report, either to SYSOUT
or to a data set where there are many columns, they only get
the title headings in the output.  The reports look fine when
being displayed online, but when printed the details under the
column header is empty and just contains blanks.

Reports where there are not a large # of columns of data to
display are printing properly.

For example:
  - CICS TS Statistics - Transaction Manager
  - CICS TS Statistics - MVS TCB Overview
are displayed and print correctly.

However, reports for:
  - CICS TS Statistics - DSAs
  - CICS TS Statistics - Dispatcher TCB Modes
only show the headers/headings for each column when printed.
Viewing these same reports online works properly and data
under the titles/headings is being correctly populated and
shown.  Its just not there when the same report is printed.

Unable to print tabular reports using the Statistics Online
report Print function. When printing tabular reports, only
headings are produced but no data.

Problem conclusion

  • CICS PA has been changed to make sure the Statistics Online
report Print function works correctly.
