PH19410: HP LOAD RETURNS RC=00 EVEN IF ABENDSB37 OCCURS FOR DFSURWF1

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• HP Load issues HPSR0001I message and returns RC=00 even if an
  ABENDSB37 occurs for the DFSURWF1 data set.
  DFSURWF1 isn't closed by HP Load, so HP Load can't recognize
  the abnormal end of DFSURWF1 after the HPSR0001I message is
  issued.

  IMS High Performance Load can't recognize the abnormal end of
  DFSURWF1 data set, because DFSURWF1 data set is not closed at
  the end of the process. As the result, IMS High Performance Load
  returns a zero return code even if DFSURWF1 data set occurs
  ABEND SB37/SD37.
  

Problem conclusion

• IMS High Performance Load has been modified to close DFSURWF1
  data set at the end of the process. With this APAR, IMS High
  Performance Load returns a non-zero return code if DFSURWF1
  occurs ABEND SB37/SD37.
