PH18712: IN 11.1.4, MEDIA LINK TO MP4 FILE FROM DASHBOARD DOES NOT WORK

Error description

  • From a dashboard, linking to mp4 directly does not work from the
media icon.
Adding a media in a dashboard and then putting a PM4 URL in the
media link in a Cognos dashboard it does nothing.

Tested in 11.1.4.
It does not work in Firefox, Chrome and IE

Local fix

  • use other formats like youtube
