Error description

  • Customer is using CM batch to compare, register, analyze and run
    a change, involving two DB2 tables, that are also added to an
    accelerator. As part of run (ALTER), DB2 tables are also
    recreated (drop/create), replicated, loaded & enabled on
    accelerator. Process of updating 1st table goes fine, but 2nd
    (or any subsequent) table fails with protection exception as
    below:
    
    IBM0534S ONCODE=8094 Protection exception

    compile unit offset +0000047E at entry offset
    +0000047E at address 3BD2800E.

    When using ADBTEP2 to recreate and re-enable tables for
    acceleration on an IDAA accelerator, the second set of
    statements processed may fail with IBM0534S ONCODE=8094.
    
    In the following example the fifth statement will fail.
