Error description

  • ABEND0C4 in EZBITSTO at HIP6230 + 00074C. It was trying to
access the storage from TCPIP cache queue. But Cache queue was
corrupted. TCPIP application was using NETACCESS. It was
processing the ITNU corrupted storage control block.

The problem may be summarized as follows:
  1. Applications were using NETACCESS.
  2. A client connects.
  3. EZBITRAC overlays ITNU storage for some reason.

  4. EZBITSTO abends because of the overlay.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • TCPIP is amended to avoid the overlay that caused the abend.
