    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the maintenance for this APAR. *
    ****************************************************************
If OSAM extent data of a DBDS contains an unnecessary EOF mark,
IMS High Performance Unload issues message FABH0075E and ends
    abnormally with ABEND U4039.
The cause of that when a DBDS contains data in the last block of
the extent, IMS High Performance Load sets an unnecessary EOF
mark without recognizing the block as the last block of the
    extent.
This issue occurs only when IMS High Performance Load is
    executed with HPIO=YES option.

Problem conclusion

  • IMS High Performance Load has been modified to recognize the
last block of the Extent correctly so it does not set an
    unnecessary EOF mark.
