Error description

• Using a Data Module within the query there is a very simple case
  statement referring to a package item.The fully qualified path
  is being quoted in the data item but the actual package item is
  not in the query.
  When the view tabular data or the report is run the following
  error message is generated :
  XQE-DAT-0001 Data source adapter error:
  java.SQLSyntaxErrorException: ORA-00932: inconsistent datatypes:
  expected NUMBER got DATE
  By adding the two package items referred to within the case
  statement into the query, the report runs.
