* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Repository restore program BSY#YMCR     *
*                      causes ABENDU0123 if backup data is     *
*                      damaged.                                *
****************************************************************
* RECOMMENDATION: Apply maintenance.                           *
****************************************************************
If multiple DR preparation jobs are executed at the same time,
damaged repository backup data for BSYBREPT can be stored into
DR PDS. If backup data is damaged, repository restore program
BSY#YMCR causes ABENDU0123 through disaster recovery process.

BSYBREPT is one of repository files of IMS Recovery Expert, and
it is a VSAM file defined by variable RBRBREPT on start-up CLIST
BSYV220.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • Repository restore program BSY#YMCR is fixed not to cause
ABENDU0123 if repository backup data for BSYBREPT is damaged.
