Error description
You have a Webservice request that usually completes successfully however depending on the attributes/fields passed in the payload you get the following error: INVOKE WEBS - INVREQ, RESP2=00000006 WEBSERVICE ERROR. DFHWS-BODY FOLLOWS: |<SOAP-ENV:Body><SOAP-ENV:Fault><faultcode>wsse:Int| |ernalError</faultcode><faultstring>Internal Server| | Error</faultstring></SOAP-ENV:Fault></SOAP-ENV:Bo| |dy> | When you remove the WSSE Security Header ( <wsse:Security>) the Webservice works just fine and you encounter no errors, however you need to run with this security header. Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All CICS users * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: SOAP Fault with faultcode * * wsse:InternalError is created when CICS * * attempts to sign a SOAP message. * **************************************************************** A PIPELINE has been configured in CICS to use WS-Security to sign SOAP messages. Some of the time the attempt to sign the message can fail and a SOAP Fault with faultcode wsse:InternalError is created. The problem is caused by an invalid freemain of a buffer that the CICS WS-Security code was using for a number of different text areas. When the storage area gets reused the original data gets overwritten. This leads to an error when calling DFHXUCAN and an XSECException is produced. This exception results in a SOAP Fault being created. Additional keywords: WSSEEnv serializeNode C14N TFXMC14n setInput XMLStringManager
Problem conclusion
The CICS WS-Security code has been updated to prevent this invalid freemain from taking place.
