APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Customer is performing Column Map processing using CONVERT and
  specifies PROP function on DECIMAL columns.
  Some of the values are invalid DECIMAL data. The following

Problem summary

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Customer is performing Column Map       *
  *                      processing using CONVERT and            *
  *                      specifies PROP function on DECIMAL      *
  *                      columns.                                *
  *                      The following SystemError will be       *
  *                      reported:                               *
  *                      ErrCB.U.Msg= Unexpected rc from         *
  *                      TDB_Insert                              *
  ****************************************************************
  Optim data DECIMAL data validation rejects invalid DECIMAL data
  while processing the PROP function in Column Maps.
  In addition, while extracting related tables during EXTRACT
  processing, related rows, whose key contains invalid data, will
  not be processed and included in the data extract possibly
  causing data integrity issues.
  Also random data is being accessed in PROP scenarios due to
  initialization error and may be causing the unexpected
  SystemError.
  

Problem conclusion

• Optim processing will be changed. Invalid DECIMAL data will be
  not be discarded anymore but rather accepted "as-is" for
  processing.
  Optim processing will be corrected in respect to PROP value
  initialization.
