    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: 0C4 at Offset x'4970' in DFHLDDMI *
    *                      during warm restart.                    *
    ****************************************************************
    During a warm restart all the previously installed programs
    are read from the catalog. This causes CPE control blocks
    to either be created or reused. If DFHSIP was one of these
    previously installed programs CICS attempts to reuse the already
    created CPE. If there is an active APE chained from this CPE
    this is freemained. When the APE is freed the pointer is nulled
    The APE pointer is then attempted to be used to find the next
    APE on the chain causing the 0C4 to occur.

Problem conclusion

  • DFHLDDMI has been changed to save the next APE pointer before
    freemaining the current APE.
