APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• If ClearCase operations requiring a vob_server process,
  including checkins, MultiSite sync imports, etc., are initiated
  while a protectVOB operation is in progress, the vob_server
  process will report:
  vob_server.exe(11880): Error: Temporarily unavailable, admin
  process running as pid 65535
  
  Once that message appears, operations requiring a vob_server
  process will not be possible in that VOB until ClearCase is
  restarted.
  

Local fix

• None, aside from arranging a system downtime for ProtectVOB
  operations.
