  Temporary Data Base (TDB) is utilized by Optim for storage of
  keyed or non-keyed records for internal processing.  It is an
  in-memory data store to provide good performance for Optim
  functions.  The current implementation has limitations and
  requires z/OS data spaces for its data store.
  

Problem conclusion

• TDB function was re-implemented.  Key length constraint was
  expanded to approximately 32750 bytes.  Above the bar (64 bit)
  storage may now be used for the data store.
  
  This is an limited access implementation and the default is for
  Optim to continue using the current TDB.  The new TDB version
  can be selected for execution by the user upon instruction from
  the Optim support team.
  
  This solution is currently optional and the default for Optim is
  to continue using the current (data spaces based) TDB engine.
  The new (64 bit based) TDB engine can be selected adhoc or as
  default by the user upon instruction from the Optim support
  team.
