    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Migration of commands that delete large *

    * option 'Automatic remove of deleted *
    * Groups from CSD Lists' is on. *
    ****************************************************************
When a change package is used to migrate commands that delete
large volumes of groups when system option 'Automatic remove of
deleted Groups from CSD Lists' is turned on, a storage violation
(code X'0F0C') can occur in module DFHSMAR due to numerous API
messages being returned causing a buffer overflow.

Problem conclusion

  • CICS Configuration Manager is corrected to prevent the XML
buffer from overflowing when large volumes of API messages are
returned from the server. New message CCV53191I is output when
the limit of the number of API messages has been exceeded.

The CICS Configuration Manager Knowledge Center for z/OS 5.4
    will be updated to include:

CCV5319I API-message limit has been exceeded
    Explanation:
The client request generated more than the maximum number of
API-messages. No more messages will be returned to the client in
    this response.

    System Action:
    None.

    User Response:
None. This is an information only message.
