Problem summary

  • ****************************************************************

    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Excessive compile time. *
    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the provided PTF. *
    ****************************************************************
Some optimizations must be disabled when using
ZONEDATA(NOPFD|MIG) to ensure increased compatibility with
COBOL V4 and earlier. The check for a particular optimization
    could be excessive.

Problem conclusion

  • The compiler was updated to avoid excessive checks when
