Error description
A CICS transaction made a call to MQ and then, while running in Primary Space mode with the MQ ASID being the PASID, there was an abend0C4. . The externalized message correctly says this: . DFHAP0001 PRODCICS An abend (code 0C4/AKEA) has occurred at offset X'FFFFFFFF' in module DFHMQTRU . . But the 'KE=3' formatter says this: ------------------------------------ PASID: X'015A' SASID: X'015A' HASID: X'0197' ... Error happened in program DFHEPRL at offset 0000322E ... Data at PSW: 00000000_296C8326 Module: DFHEPRL Offset: 0000322E ... and it dumps out the storage occupied by DFHEPRL -------------------------------------- . But the program check was not in DFHEPRL. In the CICS ASID, DFHEPRL is the program that lives at the PSW address. But the abend0C4 occurred in a different ASID, ASID x'015A', which is the MQ MSTR ASID. The program check occurred in the program in the MQ MSTR ASID that lives at the PSW address. . Additional Symptom(s) Search Keyword(s): KIXREVDWZ

Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All CICS users * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The CICS Kernel dump formatter may * * display incorrect information. * **************************************************************** The CICS Kernel dump formatter assumes all data processed in a dump has been captured within the CICS ASID. The PSW is assumed to refer to the HASID but is actually in another ASID. The result is that the dump formatter information is incorrect. Keywords: PASID HASID
Problem conclusion
The CICS Kernel dump formatter module DFHKEDUF has been changed such that data created under an ASID which is different to the CICS ASID is not displayed as part of CICS error data.
