APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • When Selecting the GRANT link in ISPF panel ADB2 AT
(1;AO;TA) a -331 error is returned. This is happening on our
original maintenance level and with all current maintenance
applied.

Local fix

  • Entering GR on the line command works as a work around.

* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: SQLCODE -331 occurs when GRANT command  *
*                      is entered on the command line of panel *
*                      ADB2AT 'Table Authorizations'.          *
****************************************************************
When GRANT command is entered on the command line of panel
ADB2AT 'Table Authorizations', the following SQL error occurs:
DSNT408I SQLCODE = -331, ERROR: CHARACTER CONVERSION CANNOT BE
PERFORMED BECAUSE A STRING, POSITION 24, CANNOT BE CONVERTED
FROM 1208 TO 37, REASON 16
