The customer's concern is valid. Unfortunately our current crosstab does not share the same technology foundation as our 11.1 visualizations. The Visualization recommender introduced in 11.1.x version was built on top of 11.1 visualizations only. We would like to track this as feature work and prioritize it with other features currently planned.
