APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• A transaction abended U0777, victim of deadlock condition, and
  was automatically rescheduled. However, IMS PA did not treat the
  rescheduled transaction as a new transaction and either
  processed it as continuation of the original transaction, if
  available, or started a new transaction independent of the
  original program-switch chain.                        ABENDU0777

  Transaction abended U0777, victim of deadlock condition, and

Problem conclusion

• For abend U0777 of a program-switch transaction IMS PA
  creates a copy of the original, abending transaction for
  reporting purposes. The original transaction data is retained
  so that all information collected prior to rescheduling is not
  lost. This transaction is then reported upon successful
  completion.
