Error description
This APAR addresses two issues during execution of a change when a column's NULL/NOT NULL attribute is changed, and NOPAD=YES was used to Unload the data: 1. If a column is changed from 'INTEGER WITH DEFAULT NULL'to 'INTEGER NOT NULL WITH DEFAULT n', the Load step may discard all rows with the following message: DSNU318I -ssid nnn timestamp DSNURWBF - RECORD (1) WILL BE DISCARDED DUE TO INVALID 'DSN_NULL_IND_nnnnn' COLUMN SPECIFICATION FOR >schema<.>table< 2. If a column is changed from INTEGER WITH DEFAULT n to INTEGER NOT NULL WITH DEFAULT n, the Load step may discard all rows with the following messages: DSNU310I -ssid nnn timestamp DSNURCON - RECORD (1) WILL BE DISCARDED DUE TO '>column<' CONVERSION ERROR FOR >schema<.>table< ERROR CODE '14 - INPUT IS INVALID FOR DATE/TIME' The job may also end with an S04E abend, and with message ADB5184E/msgadb5184e: ADB5184E The run is ending due to an error with a non-SQL command.
