A DFHSJJS TERMINATE_TRANSACTION domain call fails but with CICS trace component SJ=OFF, there is no exception trace entry showing why transaction termination failed. Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All CICS Users. * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: APAR to improve the diagnostics issued * * by module DFHSJJS. * **************************************************************** If a TERMINATE_TRANSACTION domain call fails in DFHSJJS with a JVMSERVER_NOT_FOUND_EXCEPTION and SJ tracing is set to SJ=OFF, then there is no indication that the call failed in the CICS internal trace.
Problem conclusion
An exception trace entry has been added and will be issued if a transaction fails to terminate because the JVM server specified on the TERMINATE TRANSACTION domain call could not be found. The 'JVM domain trace points' section of the CICS Knowledge Centers at release 5.3 and above will be updated to document the new 0B28 'JVM server not found' trace entry.
