Error description

  • When the application migration scan produces a 'Scan
    error' status in the Liberty Summary column, it's not obvious
    what caused the issue. Modifying the status text should
    help reduce the confusion.

    When the application migration scan produces a 'Scan
    error' status in the Liberty Report column, it's not obvious
    what caused the issue. Modifying the status text should
    help reduce the confusion.
    

Problem conclusion

  • The status message was changed to 'Scan error. Check server
    logs.' so the user knows to look at the server logs for more
    information on what caused the failure.
    
    The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
    fix pack 8.5.5.17 and 9.0.5.2.  Please refer to the
