PH15376: CAPTURE PROMPTS WINDOW IN LCM 11.1.3 DOES NOT CLOSE AND RETURNS BLANK PAGE

Error description

  • When creating a Comparison project in LCM 11.1.3, if LCM is
    accessed using the FQDN URL
    (http://server.domain.com:9305/lcm_servlet/login.jsp#/welcome),
    and the source environment is an 11.1.3 server that is installed
    on the SAME server as LCM, then after selecting the prompt
    values for the report the "Capture prompts" window will not
    close and will remain open on a blank page.
    
    This DOES NOT occur when source environment is any versions
    besides 11.1.3, and does not occur if the source environment is
    installed on a different machine than where LCM is located.
    
    This also DOES NOT occur if the LCM URL is accessed using
    localhost eg
    http://localhost:9305/lcm_servlet/login.jsp#/welcome

Problem conclusion

  • This is a product limitation currently. We suggest customers to
    use the workaround which is to use IP address instead.
