APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • CICS message appears when CKBR is running during CICS start-up.
    Customer has not got MQMONITOR resources defined.
    Module DFHMQBR0 has issued an EXEC CICS SET MQMONITOR STOPPED
    NOHANDLE.
    But this fails with RESPONSE(EXCEPTION)
    REASON(MQMON_NAME_NOT_FOUND) REASON_CODE_FROM_ADAPTER(START)

  • define MQMONITOR resource

    * RECOMMENDATION: Use the new MQMonitor resource and not the   *
    *                 old methods of starting the CICS MQ Bridge   *
    *                 or CKTI transactions.                        *

    Erroneous DFHAP1900 messages are produced when starting the CICS
    MQ Bridge using the CKBR transaction or starting instances of
    the CKTI transactions using the MQ Control Transaction CKQC.
    

Problem conclusion

  • The erroneous DFHAP1900 messages have been removed.
