Error description
Whilst stress testing our DPL bridge we were getting a number of error messages for transaction CKBR. These were a pair of messages: DFHMQ0760I and DFHMQ0762I and CICS Info Centre points you at a preceding message which should be DFHMQ0710E. But basically in the dump I can see several AP A0B5 MQTRU *EXC* - CSQCCCRC - MQCC(00000002) MQRC(000007F1) Then I can see messages DFHMQ760I and DFHMQ0762I being issued . But I do not see DFHMQ0710E message with MQRC=2033.

Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All CICS users. * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Missing error message as a result of * * setting ROUTEMEM=Y and the mark browse * * interval expiring which results in the * * following messages DFHMQ0760 and * * DFHMQ0762 being issued. * **************************************************************** When running the CICS MQ Bridge with option ROUTEMEM=Y under load it can happen that a marked message interval will expire resulting in the message again becoming available to the CKBR transaction. In this case, because the message has already been, processed it is removed from the input MQ queue and the messages DFHMQ0760 and DFHMQ0762 are issued. The message text of the above messages refer to a previous message, but this was never issued.
Problem conclusion
New message DFHMQ0795I has been created that describes this condition. The CICS Transaction Server Version 5 Release 4 and Version 5 Release 5, CICS Messages manual will be updated as follows. In Chapter 2. DFHMQnnnn messages - a new message will be added immediately after the description of message DFHMQ0793I. This new message description will read as below. DFHMQ0795 E date time applid tranid trannum The CICS-MQ bridge has retrieved a message which has been previously marked and the mark browse interval has expired. Explanation: The CICS-MQ bridge is running with ROUTEMEM=Y and retrieved a message which has been previously marked and the mark browse interval has expired without the message having been processed. The transaction that should have processed the message could have been delayed for a period that exceeds the mark browse interval. System action: The message is removed from the bridge queue. User response: Check for associated messages to determine if the message was returned to the bridge queue or moved to another queue. Investigate potential transaction delays. Module: DFHMQBR0 XMEOUT Parameters: date, time, applid, tranid, trannum Destination: Console and Transient Data Queue CMQM and Terminal
