Error description

• Easy Installations of Cognos Analytics came with a functionality
  for regular users to easily change their password.
  This could be done via User Icon -> My Preferences -> Personal
  Tab, this area has a Password section.
  In this section was a link to "Change your Password" which
  opened a dialog, where you can enter the old password, new
  password, confirm new password and show the password in
  cleartext when it is entered.
  
  Starting with Cognos Analytics 11.1.1 up to 11.1.3 this
  functionality was removed.
  

Local fix

• If a user needs to change his password now he either
  a) needs to be an admin user with access to Manage -> People ->
  Accounts -> Cognos Users
  b) an admin needs to apply the changes via Manage -> People ->
  Accounts -> Cognos Users
  c) an admin needs to apply the changes via Apache DS Studio
  directly on the Namespace
  d) needs to apply the changes via Apache DS Studio directly on
  the Namespace - but requires admin credentials
