Error description

  • HPU can terminate in abend 0c4 when the following conditions are
    fullfilled:
    - unloading a table from the Db2 catalog
    - the unloaded tablespace contains RID related to Db2 catalog
      intern relation which no longer exists in DB2 V10NFM.

    can occur when running an unload against a table from the Db2
    catalog when the following conditions are fullfilled:
    - the unload is performed in native mode (etiher from the table
      space or from an image copy)
    - the unloaded catalog table belonged to a multi-table
      tablespace in Db2 version prior to V10 and currently belong to
      a single table table space
    - the unloaded tablespace contains RID related to Db2 catalog
      intern relation which no longer exists in DB2 V10NFM .

  • run the unload in SQL mode by specifying Db2 FORCE

Problem conclusion

  • Apply the PTF.
    Workaround: run the unload in SQL mode by specifying Db2 FORCE
