PH14211: THE DB_DAYS_SINCE_LAST_REORG IS NOT UPDATED AFTER THE DATABASE REORG

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The reorg job runs with ITKBDATA=UTILHIST and stores the Reorg
  Timestamp. However the DB_DAYS_SINCE_LAST_REORG is not updated
  and continues increasing.

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The value of DB_DAYS_SINCE_LAST_REORG   *
  *                      is not updated even though the          *
  *                      database was reorganized.               *
  ****************************************************************
  * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the maintenance for this APAR.         *
  ****************************************************************
  The value of the data element DB_DAYS_SINCE_LAST_REORG is not
  updated even though the database was reorganized by Reorg
  Expert job with ITKBDATA=UTILHIST. This problem can occur if the
  job name of the database reorganization was different from the
  job name of the previous reorganization.
  

Problem conclusion

• The module HKTIMST1 has been modified to calculate the value of
  DB_DAYS_SINCE_LAST_REORG correctly by the Autonomics Director
  or the Reorg Expert even though the job name of database
  reorganization was changed.
