Error description

  • ODA v1.2: Query acceleration not working when eligible
Right now when going through a VT the SQL Engine by default sets
"Current Query Acceleration" to "Enable with Failback" which
allow Db2 to determine if it goes to Db2 native table or
    Accelerated table.
This can be changed with the setting of OPTBNOQA which can be
set in any VTB Rule. Currently it is shipped in
    the ***MDTBL rule.
    *Currently:*
OPTBNOQA = 0 sets Current Query Acceleration to "Enable with
    Failback"
OPTBNOQA = 1 sets Current Query Acceleration to "None".
We would like to make a change so that all functions of Current
Query Acceleration are available to be set.
    *Example:*
OPTBNOQA = 0 sets Current Query Acceleration to "Enable with
    Failback"
OPTBNOQA = 1 sets Current Query Acceleration to "None".
OPTBNOQA = 2 sets Current Query Acceleration to "Enable"
OPTBNOQA = 3 sets Current Query Acceleration to "Eligible".
OPTBNOQA = 4 sets Current Query Acceleration to "All"
