APAR status

Error description

• During replication for the table that contains LOB columns, CDC
  needs to select the LOB column data from source table usin ROWID
  column, if the ROWID column dose not have an index defined on
  it, Db2 may use a tablespace scan to retrieve the LOB data,
  which will cause the replication to be very slow or appeared
  stalled. The product should use an existing unique index to
  retrieve LOB data instead of requiring an additional index to be
  created on the ROWID column.

Problem conclusion

• Logic has been added to locate and use an existing unique index
  over the source table to retrieve LOB/XML data. A warning
  message is issued to notify the user that replication might be
  slow when no suitable index is found.
