APAR status
Closed as program error.
Error description
The SCIM 1.0 feature will return a 404 when searching for users. Typically the behavior will be accompanied with a EntityNotFoundException in the Liberty logs. This can occur when search results have been cached and one of the users in the search result has been deleted since the original search. This is most likely to happen when paging through search results, but could also occur if the user was deleted during the search itself.

**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All users of IBM WebSphere Application * * Server Liberty using SCIM 1.0 * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: SCIM 1.0 can return an HTTP 404 return * * code during a user search * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** The SCIM 1.0 feature can sometimes return an HTTP 404 return code when searching for users. Typically the behavior will be accompanied with an EntityNotFoundException in the Liberty logs. This is most likely to happen when paging through search results, but could also occur if the user was deleted during the search itself.
Problem conclusion
SCIM 1.0 was updated to properly return an HTTP 200 return code instead of an HTTP 404 return code. The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fix pack 19.0.0.7.
